Book chapter published

Together with my Ph.D. adivsor, I had written a chapter for a book about Augmented Reality. Please buy it here :-)

Topology

My main problem for the demo on Thursday is related to Topology... I must decompose a non-convex polyhedron into several convex polyhedra... I am using a (very expensive) library for that. However, something goes wrong... Argh...

Non-convex polyedron above. Decomposition should result in something like:

Party time

Yesterday, I have attended a very cool event. Probably the best event in a long time... Goldie and MC Lowqui were playing in Tokyo. Their sound was (to speak in AliG's words) "eviler than Sceletor" :-) It was a great party!!
Before the main event, DJ Baku was playing. His style is very unique: scratching and beat-juggling Drum and Bass! He is from the same crew as DJ Kentaro (DMC world champion 2002). Check out DJ Kentaro's world- championship set here. I especially like the part starting at about 4:30. That was how it sounded like yesterday!

Wow, the coming week will be very tough for me. I must finish the demo in 3 working days. In addition, I have to attend 3 boonenkais...

Pictures!

Finally, I have found some time to put some pictures online!

Currently, I am sooo busy at work... For the first time, I will give a speech at a Japanese conference! Fortunately, I am allowed to present in English. Check the program here. My presentation is at Fri, Jan 19 PM 13:00 - 15:00.
(the English program is here, hehe).

Also, I am currently programming a demo for the year-end demo of our lab. I have less than 7 days to complete it. I was told about it yesterday. Wow, guess I should not waste my time blogging ;-)

Ok, here are the pictures:
